I came to teaching through injury, stress, and years of repetitive motion patterns that left me feeling disconnected from my body. In my 20s, I practiced Jivamukti yoga for many years, but over time I fell out of relationship with movement and stopped centering my body within my life.
About six years ago, feeling burnt out, run down, and disconnected, I felt called back into myself through movement, breath, and yoga — reconnecting not only to my body, but to presence and a different way of living. That journey back to my body led me to complete my 200-hour yoga teacher training and begin teaching intentional movement and supportive daily living in the modern world.
As I began teaching mat classes, I was introduced to Pilates through a teacher who deeply inspired me. Her encouragement, combined with a “why not?” spirit, expanded my path into comprehensive Pilates apparatus training and eventually led me to open Pilates STT in 2022.
Now, as Pilates STT joins forces with The VI Movement Lab, I’m incredibly excited to continue expanding movement offerings for our community in a collaborative and welcoming space.
My teaching blends yoga, Pilates, breath, and functional movement with a focus on intentionality, alignment, strength, mobility, and presence. I believe movement can bring us back home to ourselves — expanding not only our physical capacity, but our relationship with self, resilience, and possibility.
Because movement is not about perfection — it’s about creating a meaningful relationship with yourself and community for better living.

After practicing yoga for over 30 years, teaching for 10 years, I am a yogi who enjoys looking for playful ways to merge movement and meditation. Using tools of mindfulness, my classes weave a Hatha yoga flow with fascia flossing techniques to help stretch and strengthen the body. My aim is to provide a class where students can feel into their bodies, appreciate it’s ever-changing capacity to heal and encourage growth and stamina when it comes to mindful movement.
